Στις 3 Δεκέμβρη του 1944 το ΕΑΜ-ΕΛΑΣ καλεί το λαό σε γενική απεργία ενάντια στον αφοπλισμό των Ελλήνων όπου οι Άγγλοι και το εγχώριο αστικό κράτος καλούσαν. Ο λαός κατευθυνόταν σην πλατεία Συντάγματος όπου και άνανδρα πυροβολήθηκαν από τους Άγγλους, τους Χίτες και τους Ταγματασφαλίτες που βγήκαν από τις φυλακές με σκοπό να καταπνίξουν τις δυνάμεις του ΕΑΜ ΕΛΑΣ. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν 21 νεκροί και 140 τραυματίες. Ο λαός όμως χύθηκε ξανά στους δρόμους και την επόμενη μέρα, τιμώντας τους νεκρούς του αγωνιστές, κανένα εργοστάσιο δε δούλεψε και η πορεία με μεγάλα πανό και βροντερά συνθήματα.
Επιλέξαμε να διασκευάσουμε το κομμάτι "Μπήκαν στην Πόλη οι Οχτροί" έτσι ώστε με το δικό μας τρόπο να τιμήσουμε αυτούς που έχυσαν το αίμα τους για την ελευθερία, για τη λαοκρατία, για τον τίμιο αγώνα. Οι αξίες και τα ιδανικά που προωθούσαν συνεχίζουν να εμπνέουν τους κολασμένους αυτής της γης και ΔΕ ΘΑ ΞΕΧΑΣΤΟΥΝ ΠΟΤΕ!
On the 3rd of December 1944 EAM-ELAS calls the people for a general strike against the disarmament of the Greek people that the English and the Greek bourgeois state had called for. The people were marching to the Syntagma Square where they were attacked cowardly by the English, the Organisation X and the Security Battalions that were released from prison in order to attack and weaken EAM-ELAS. The result was 21 dead and 140 injured. The people marched again the next day to honor their dead comrades and no factory worked and the march took place with big banners and loud chantings for freedom.
We chose to make a cover of "Μπήκαν Στην Πόλη οι Οχτροί" in order to honor those that spilled their blood for freedom, the people's rights and for a fair struggle. Their values and ideals are still relevant today and they keep inspiring the damned of this world and THEY WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!
Επιλέξαμε να διασκευάσουμε το κομμάτι "Μπήκαν στην Πόλη οι Οχτροί" έτσι ώστε με το δικό μας τρόπο να τιμήσουμε αυτούς που έχυσαν το αίμα τους για την ελευθερία, για τη λαοκρατία, για τον τίμιο αγώνα. Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended.

What an absolutely beautiful album! This is what black metal really leads to; beautiful and powerful expressions of anger, mourning, and joy that lead to real change for those suffering! I can’t say enough good things about this album! The huge range of genres is incredible as well!

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.

Thét Älëf continues to weave his totally idiosyncratic spell, glamouring you into a sonic world that does not sound like anyone else. A world of shadows and joy, of might and tiny shufflings, of lanterns in the dark, seeking and strange. Hard to pick a favorite track, but the quiet melody of the first, like a spider edging along a leaf or a fairy treading quietly in a moonlit marshland, gave me chills.
